Nora Fatehi will play a dance teacher in Salman Khan’s movie

Bollywood Actress Nora Fatehi is known for her dance moves; that popularity has been sealed by her current dance number, Dilbar, from the John Abraham-starrer Satyameva Jayate. And now, Nora Fatehi performs not only a dancer, however, a Latina dance teacher in the Salman Khan-starrer Bharat — and she is taking her inspiration from none-other-than the legendary dancer-actress, Helen.

Helen, who has done iconic dance numbers, such as Mehboob Mehbooba from Sholay (1975) and Yeh Mera Dil Pyaar Ka Deewana from Don (1978), has been the dancing idol for many. Nora Fatehi, a  properly-trained belly dancer, wish to dance with the power like that Helen delivered at the big screen in her heydays.

A source stated, “Nora Fatehi has always admired Helenji’s work and is keen on her classic movies and songs. So, when she knew that she needed to get her moves proper as a Latina dancer, she knew she’d have to look at all of Helenji’s [films] once more. She has also had long-career-related discussions together with her.”

Nora Fatehi says, “Helenji has really blessed me. She gave me her blessings the first time I met her, which was in December at Salman Khan’s B-day party. I had a very long chat with her about my professional dreams and she put her hand on my head, and stated, ‘I’m giving you blessings and I wish all of the doors to open up for you. You’ll do very good in your profession.’ She suggested me to not allow people bring me down and never to surrender.”

That meeting with Helen was inspiring for Nora Fatehi. She says, “I took a beautiful image of her, and since I met her and had the communicate, the whole thing has changed for me. My profession actually took off, and Dilbar, Bharat, Stree happened for me.”
