Salman Khan’s dad Salim Khan has refuted rumours that Salman is sad or upset with Priyanka Chopra for leaving Bharat a couple of days earlier than she was to start shooting for the movie.
Whereas the rumours might recommend a lot of issues, Salman Khan’s dad clear things up once more. Salim Khan has revealed that Salman shouldn’t be sad or upset with Priyanka Chopra for leaving their upcoming movie, Bharat and has stated they may soon get another person in her place.
In an interview to SpotBoye, Salim Khan stated actors go away and join projects all the time and it is nothing new. “It is ok no matter what happened. Priyanka Chopra shouldn’t be doing Bharat, let her be. Such issues happened in our Bollywood Industry,” he stated. When requested if the movie’s team was upset or angry at PC for leaving the movie simply when the shoot was about to start, he stated it was not true.
“Nope, it’s not true. And I repeat, such issues happen – some-times they happen for date problems, or the role, and even the cash side. Aur kabhi aadmi ki kuch apni majbooriyan hoti hai. I haven’t yet received the details of why Priyanka Chopra left Bharat, however, we will soon get another person. We aren’t upset or sad with PC. Salman Khan is also not sad or upset,” he added.
However, when requested who will replace PC in the film, Salim Khan stated anybody may do it. “Koi bhi aa jayeja (uski jagah par). Bahut saare log hain. (Anybody can replace her. There are a lot of individuals),” he stated.
Nikhil Namit, CEO, Reel Life Productions, had said to Mid-Day that he’s sad with Priyanka Chopra’s decision to leave them a movie on such short notice. “PC instructed us she needed to exit due to her engagement, two-days ago. and it was unprofessional of her to take a decision so suddenly,” he told the daily.
Friday, the director of the film Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to formally official announcement that she is not part of the film and the reason is ‘Nick Jonas’ and hinted that Nick and Priyanka Chopra’s soon to happen wedding ceremony is the explanation for Priyanka opting out of the movie.
“Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of Bharat Film and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick Jonas of time about her decision and we are very happy for her…Team Bharat wishes Priyanka Chopra loads of love and happiness for life,” Ali Abbas Zafar had written.
However, PC remains to be part of Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink. Priyanka Chopra will play a mom in the film which also stars Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar. The production house of the film shared a video of the celebrities in work mode in the official Instagram account. in the video, Farhan Akhtar will be seen discussing his role with film director Shonali Bose and the producer, whereas Priyanka Chopra will be seen selecting her costumes. The official launch date of the film is yet to be introduced.
